Transformation is a profound change in the heart and mind, rooted in the knowledge of the word of God and the action of the Holy Spirit. It begins at salvation, when God removes your stony, wicked heart and replaces it with a heart of flesh. The Holy Spirit comes to dwell in your heart and produces the character traits of Jesus Christ (please read “You are created to be like God”). Growing in the transformative knowledge of God the Creator requires active study of the word, learning and meditating on it, attending to God-centered preaching, and fellowshipping with Christians of like mind.
WLT wants to empower you to draw closerto God every day through a deeper, transformative knowledge of God the Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ, who is the “image of the invisible God,” and, God the Holy Spirit to the end that you will mature in the Lord, measuring up to the complete standard of Christ and able to stand for truth in all situations. By growing and developing spiritually through various stages “unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,” you will no longer be immature like a child, tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching, or influenced when people try to trick you with lies so clever and sound like the truth. Rather, you will spiritually grow and deepen in the knowledge of God’s word, righteousness, holiness, grace, wisdom, and in the manifestation of the fruit, gifts, and power of the Holy Spirit, serving God and humanity.
